What do the numbers mean?

I feel like most of these can't end the world per se, and a few of them wouldn't even end humanity (though they would certainly eliminate a large portion thereof.

We should start an Oppositelock gambling ring. First bet: which of the ST drivers will be next to have a damaged car?

They are the odds. They represent how many dollars you get back per dollar you bet, if you pick a winner that is.
A lower number means a more likely result.
Forexample, if Jesus does return on the 11th of April, and you bet $10 dollars that he would, you recieve $5010.
If he doesn't return, and you bet $1000 that he wouldn't, you recieve $1001.

By my count only three would definitely end the world, plus asteroid, which is a total wild card depending on size
